Christmas Eve, to us, means a sumptuous meatless family dinner, "Wigilia" in Polish, and the
sharing of the oplatek, another Polish tradition in which each person has a wafer from which every other
person takes three pieces and makes three New Year's Wishes for that person. It's a wonderful tradition in which people circle throughout the
room, wishing all kinds of neat things for each other. For more on the tradition of the Oplatek click here.
